Only 22% of the population has access to the internet, but, there are 100 mobile phone subscriptions for every 100 people. Asia has some pockets of Christians, but 2.4 billion of the 3.9 billion people are still unreached. Internet is scarce and often restricted in these countries dominated by Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism. Indonesia is 7% Christian. This region of 647 million people is 78% unreached. A dominant Muslim culture, political upheaval, and millions of refugees combine to make this area a complex mission field. For example, Libya is one of the 40 least reached countries with Christians making up less than 3% of the population. Only 19% have internet, but there are 157 mobile phone subscriptions for every 100 people. With a population of 7.4 billion, 3.1 billion people are unreached. But with more than 8 billion connected devices globally, the world is ripe for mobile ministry.
