Continuing where we left off (see part 1, part 2, part 3, and part 4), here is the final edition of our list of helpful Android apps for cross-cultural outreach. Productivity
Evernote (free) This one of the most used apps for productivity and organization on any platform. It allows you take notes, capture photos, create to-do lists, record voice reminders – and makes them all searchable and available on all of your devices. You can even email things to your Evernote account. The basic version is free, or you can upgrade to the premium version for more storage space and other features. A variety of add-ons are also available to make it work seamlessly with your browser, scanner, etc.
Forms (free) Device Magic Forms enables your team to collect structured data quickly and easily on their smartphones and tablets. Design forms on our web-based designer, push them to your team, and route their responses through to a wide range of connectors.
Kingsoft Office (free) – Rich editing features! Small Size, Stable Operation, and Special interface! Support 23 kinds of files, including DOC/DOCX/TXT/XLS/XLSX/PPT/PPTX/PDF. Built-in file manager that can automatically organize your office document. Tight integration with the mail application. Support cloud storages such as Google Drive, Dropbox, Box.net and other services with WebDAV protocol.
Office Suite Pro ($14.99) OfficeSuite Pro allows you to view, create, edit, print and share Word, Excel and PowerPoint files on the go. You can also open attachments and see PDF files on an Android based phone or tablet with our feature-rich mobile office solution.
WorkFlowy Agent (free) WorkFlowy is the world’s best tool for taking notes and making lists. It is simple yet very effective app to keep you organized. WorkFlowy Agent is the best way to make use of the WorkFlowy.com web application on your Android smartphone! It works as an enhanced proxy to bring you the best user experience possible and running WorkFlowy in single click.
Wunderlist (free): This is a fairly basic list-making app, but that is what makes it so nice to use. You can create multiple lists and even choose to share your list with others (or see lists that others have shared with you). It’s great for to-do lists, packing lists, and more. A Pro version is also available for those needing additional features, including collaboration.
Utilities/Tool Replacement
Battery Doctor (free) This app regulates the manner in which your device is charged with a 3 stage system to ensure you get the most out of your battery. It also features an impressive amount of features that can monitor and regulate power consumption.

CamScanner (free) Turn any Smartphone into a Scanner with CamScanner. Google Translate (free) Translate words and phrases between more than 70 languages using Google Translate for iOS. For most languages, you can speak your phrases and hear the corresponding translations.

Wi-Fi Finder (free) Never worry again about not finding a Wi-Fi internet connection. Wi-Fi Finder is simply the best app for finding free or paid public Wi-Fi hotspots online or offline. Now for both phones and tablets!
Wifi Analyzer (free) Turns your android phone into a Wi-Fi analyzer!! Shows the Wi-Fi channels around you. Helps you to find a less crowded channel for your wireless router. Compatible with Android 4.3.
Word Lens ($4.99) Instantly translate printed words with your phone’s camera! Word Lens gives you translation on the go. Christian Creeds & Reformed Confessions (free) This application will help anyone better understand and appreciate the depth and richness of the Christian faith as it has been historically understood. It includes the Apostles’ Creed, Nicene Creed, Athanasian Creed, Belgic Confession, Heidelberg Catechism, Canons of Dort, and the Westminster Confession and Shorther and Longer Catechisms, all of which are fully searchable and include hyperlinked verse references (KJV, plus the ability to specify a native app of your choosing for other translations). Additional resources can be downloaded from within the app.
ConvertPad (free, $2.99 for “plus” version) ConvertPad and ConvertPad Plus(Ad-free version) are most powerful and fully featured Unit converter, Currency converter and Calculator. It’s a simple but the most powerful unit converter. (10,000,000+ downloads). ConvertPad is intuitive and easy to use. Features fast, real time currency and unit conversion in a clean interface.
First Aid- American Red Cross (free) Accidents happen. The official American Red Cross First Aid app puts expert advice for everyday emergencies in your hand. Get the app and be prepared for what life brings. With videos, interactive quizzes and simple step-by-step advice it’s never been easier to know first aid.
Google Earth (free) Fly around the planet with a swipe of your finger with Google Earth for Android. Explore distant lands or reacquaint yourself with your childhood home. Integrated Google Maps Street View allow you to explore the world at street level. Browse layers including roads, borders, places, photos and more. Visit the Earth Gallery to find exciting maps such as real-time earthquakes, planes in flight, hiking trails, city tours, and more.

WebMD (free) WebMD provides mobile access 24/7 to mobile-optimized health information and decision support tools including WebMD’s Symptom Checker, Drugs & Treatments, First Aid Topics, and more. It also provides offline access to first aid information, critical for emergencies when you may not have a data connection. You can customize the app with personal contacts, drugs, conditions, and articles relevant to you.
