iPhone Apps For Outreach and Spiritual Life

Keith Williams has created a list of the best iOS apps to use for your ministry – and it’s available as a free download! He has the apps listed alphabetically under each heading with a brief description of how the app can be used in mobile ministry. Here are a couple examples:

  • The Parting Gift (free) – a six-minute video to easily explain Christianity to others. The video is embedded within the app itself so there is no need to connect to the internet to share it. Statistics on your sharing are added to an online database and key global statistics are then shared back to the app so you can see how you contribute to the big picture.
  • Welcome (free) – Twelve videos that simply and understandably explain what Christians believe and how they practice their religion in Germany and other Western European countries. Intended for sharing with refugees. Available in English, German, Arabic, Farsi, and Serbian.
  • SafeBible (free) – A Holy Bible and Concordance that protects your privacy; its use cannot be monitored or blocked and they collect no information about those who use it. It is safe to use in ANY country. Available in about 25 languages.

There are 76 apps profiled, nearly all are free.

Download this list and find an app to expand your ministry reach and develop deeper conversations.

  1. So glad you have collected this data! Recently my husband and I took a cruise on Holland American and went prepared with microchips, not prepared for the fact that many Indonesians have Iphones. I told them about Kolo World in hopes that they would download it for themselves.

    • Lyn, That’s very encouraging to hear. Thanks for letting us know.
