Al massira is a Bible study course produced by Arabs for people from non-Western cultures and societies. It presents the Gospel message starting with the book of Genesis and moves on to the four gospels. Originally designed for groups of seekers, the study has also been useful to lay a strong biblical foundation for new believers.
In response to COVID-19 restrictions, the Al Massira team has created videos, so that portions of the study can now be sent via WhatsApp. Follow-up with individual or group discussions can then be done through WhatsApp, Skype, or Zoom.
This is a really exciting move because it is now possible to do the course with people that you cannot physically be with. Workers are already doing it with people in inaccessible nations, like Yemen.
The material is available in many spoken languages and subtitles – with more continually being added. Here is a three-minute teaser introduction. Currently, clips are available in Arabic, Farsi, and English.
Al Massira materials are only made available to those who have completed the Al Massira training. These trainings are now being offered online (as well as in person) in English, Arabic, and Farsi. To inquire about participating in an upcoming online training, write to info@almassira.org.
