What a difference one year can make. Over the last twelve months, more than a million new people a day came online, which leaves us with 57% of the world’s population now being “netizens” (Internet users).
Social media usage grew at a similar rate – with 288 million more social media users in the world now than a year ago.
Mobile-usage grew by 2%, and 67% of the world’s population now uses mobile phones.
